The lyrics warn about the dangers of being an excessive man, who does not adapt to his needs or his reality. Accompanied by the band The Revolutionaries, who provide a solid rhythmic base and wind and keyboard arrangements that enrich the atmosphere of the song.
Oversize Man is a song that combines social message with musical entertainment, and shows the talent of Al Campbell as one of the exponents of reggae roots of the 70s.
