When Jah Come is a deeply rooted reggae song by artist Devon Irons, originally released in 1976 and produced by the legendary Lee Perry.
The lyrics reflect the struggle of the wicked man and the inevitability of justice when Jah (God) arrives. It also emphasizes the importance of doing all the good one can and living according to Jah’s principles. It is a call to the younger generation to turn away from Satan and follow the path of righteousness. Over the years, there have been several reissues, keeping the essence of this reggae Roots gem alive.
