Description
In 1975, Anthony Williams, known as Alla, recorded this song. He was inspired by the fight against oppression and the quest for freedom by the Rastafarians in Babylon society. Alla’s voice, filled with passion and determination, captures the essence of resistance and hope. The original version of “Babylon A Fight Rastaman” was recorded at Channel One studio in Kingston, Jamaica.
The production was handled by Norman Grant (The Twinkle Brothers), who achieved an authentic and raw sound.
